Jean Nestares was selected to show her latest artwork with an exclusive group of French artists at the Salon des Artistes Contemporains de Provence Côte d’Azur in St. Jean Cap Ferrat, on the French Riviera. The exhibit is organised by the Academie des Beaux-Arts de Provence Côte d’Azur (www.abapca.org) . It will take place from April 30th until May 9th 2010 at the Salon Neptune, Port de St. Jean. As for Jean, her excitement is evident: “I am thrilled to show amongst other works my new serie of 3 mixed media paintings that I named Agua al Ras. They express the pulsating feeling of edgy urban graffiti images and will contrast with the beautiful natural surroundings of the French Riviera and its soothing sea. I hope that scrambling these two very different worlds will produce a very powerful mixture."
